Steven brings over a decade of expertise in Alaska regulatory compliance and emergency management, with a specialized focus on oil spill risk mitigation, response, logistics, and marine policy. Recently recognized as a 2024 Arctic Frontiers Emerging Leader, Steven has presented his insights at the International Oil Spill Conference. In his role as Alaska Response Manager for GMS, he oversees incident management and response efforts statewide, leveraging a deep understanding of the North’s unique logistical and environmental challenges. Steven holds a Master of Marine Policy from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from Gonzaga University.
