Mitch is a seasoned professional with twenty-two years of service in the US Coast Guard, bringing extensive experience in Maritime Operations and Project Management. Specializing in Emergency Management and Maritime and Port Security, he has led numerous federal projects in California, focusing on Environmental, Aquaculture and Windfarms, Vessel Traffic Services, Oil Spill Recovery, and Marine Transportation Systems. Mitch holds a bachelor’s degree in emergency management from Thomas Edison State University and a master’s degree in public administration with a Project Management Graduate Certificate from Central Michigan University. His certifications include a 200 Ton Masters Near Coastal, National Registry EMT, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
