As a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY, Scott offers 15 years of maritime management experience with ECM Maritime Services and the Liberian Registry, preceded by 8 years of flying reconnaissance missions as a navigator in the United States Air Force. His duties for the Liberian Registry included implementing the Flag’s robust safety inspection, ISM and ISPS audit programs, incident investigations, and assisting with USCG PSC inspections through their pre-emptive boarding program. He had similar experience with ECM Maritime in Seattle, WA including liaising with clients on the west coast, conducting vessel inspections and audits, and participating in the planning and execution of our training exercise program. Now on the east coast in upstate NY, Scott serves a similar role with GMS continuing shipboard attendances, along with scheduling and assisting with the Technical Service division’s Quality Management System. Scott’s analytical eye doesn’t stop at maritime vessels. In his free time, you’ll find him in his garage working on cars, watching F1 races or organizing fantasy football leagues with friends and family.
